About John
I grew up in the north of England in a working-class family — a foundation that gave me a roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic and a belief that leadership isn't about a title. It's about building strong, resilient teams and helping individuals achieve potential they didn't know they had.
My career has taken me across the Atlantic. I've served as a CEO, navigated complex acquisitions, led through market transitions, and scaled organisations across two continents. When you work with me, you get someone who has sat in the board meetings, felt the weight of high-stakes decisions, and knows that the human element of business is everything.
To complement this experience, I completed the Leadership and Performance Coaching Certification at Brown University — layering a rigorous, evidence-based framework over real-world expertise. The result: coaching that is both psychologically grounded and commercially astute.
